Low coolant indicator at 160km/h run

My rx8 is the low power 5 speed manual and the problem that i face is that whenever I cruise up to 160km/h, there will be a low coolant indicator sign. Why is that so?

anyhow is it alright if I just ignore the indicator sign and continue to drive at high speed by the time the indicator lights up again? it wont spoil the engine right? afterall my engine coolant level in the reservoir tank seems normal

^As long as the coolant level in the tank is good, you can ignore the indicator.

yea, you can unplug it if you want as long as you keep an eye on the coolant level yourself.

hey guys, if anyone has a coolant bottle with a bad sensor lying around and wouldn't mind hooking me up with it for like $20 bucks, pm me... need a new bottle bad, mine's cracked and I can't afford $150 for a new one right now, I can live with the light on my dash... at least temporarily...
