The real question is what does it mean if there is oil sludge on/around the spark plug and in its housing? I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be there in the quantity that it is

 

do you have pics? It could be because you overflowed your oil when filling up and leaked out of your air intake tube?

 

]I'll post a pic in a few. The main area it was at was on the left trailing plug. Gotta put the car back together real quick

also soldier i'm pretty sure it couldn't have come from overflowing considering i do my own oil changes and i don't excessively overfill it

 

Check for leakage/spray from the oil cooler lines where they connect to the engine. There was a recall in Canada for these lines due to corrosion. Even though we have the same conditions in the northern US, no recall here. I have had to replace mine for the same reason.
