idling problem with knn typhoon intake

sorrie i had to repost as the first one was posted in e wrong forum :p

gdday bros

can anyone help me with the above mentioned?
i've had the typhoon for close to 4 months without any problem till 2 weeks ago.
my idling fluctuates a little at times.
if i put my gear to neutral and roll to a stop at the lights, sometimes the engine dies off but can be restarted immediately with no problem.

i've a delfi oil pressure gauge onboard and when i'm waiting at kerb side the oil pressure fluctuates a little too, moving a few units with no increase in throttle.

can anyone shed some light on this.
many thanks.

This is a documented problem with the K&N typhoon intake.

Only solution is to get another intake.

The rough idle/stalling is caused by the intake removing the vital mesh screens that smooth out airflow for the MAF sensor.

Do a search, but I suggest the Racing beat REVi as a replacement. http://www.racingbeat.com/resultset....rtnumber=18299

Sorry to hear about the troubles!
