Idle irregularity?

Idle irregularity?
I've read that the 8 is suppose to idle at around 900 ish. When I start my car after parking over night, it idles at 2000 and slowly drops, but not all the way down till 900. It takes some driving around for it to settle around 1000. Are there any major problems with this?

It's supposed to idle high after start. After a minute or so it will idle at around 850.
