Unhappy I Need Help!!!!

Ok for some reason whenever my RX8 has been off for about a week or so it sometimes wont come on. THis is the second time it has done this but this time nothing was working until I jump started it. The first time all I had to do was roll start it. MY WRX never did this even after I came back from my 2 week vacation. Does this have anything to do with the rotary? Also Now that I have jump started it the Light saying "DSC off" wont turn off and is flashing even after I push the button to make try and make it come back on. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT WITH WHATS GOING ON or should I take it back to the dealer. My 8 only has 1,500 miles on it.

Is the battery losing its charge somehow? I leave my 8 parked between 4 to 14 weeks at a time when I leave for work, always cranks right up when I get back to it.

1) Trunk is probably open. Or an accessory you have installed is draining the battery.
2) Turn the steering wheel all the way to the right, then all the way to the left, then back to the center (with the ignition/engine on). You need to reset the steering angle sensor every time the battery is disconnected (or flat in your case).
3) The RX-8 is not a WRX. Never...never....

might be what it is. Any idea what is causing the DSC light to blink and not go off?

The low battery is a symptom. You need to find the problem. Otherwise you'll just drain the new battery as well. Though the stock battery is known to be weak, mine started right up after sitting for 2.5 months while I went on deployment.

OK I ll try and see whats causing it.

Ok Mr M's suggestion worked. But The little light of the car swirving wont go off above the rev dial, and also when i push the DSC off button now the light wont come back on. Will this all work itself out once i drive it?
