How to remove steering wheel controls

One of the lights on my steering wheel controls has stopped working. I'm pretty sure that it is just a loose connection as the light has come on before, but is now off again. Im good at soldering so i think i can reconnect the led but i dont know how to remove the steering wheels controls. I tried searching but all i came up with was threads for getting the controls to works with aftermarket head units. So does anyone know how to safely remove the steering wheel controls (the left one for stereo, not cruise control) and possibly dismantle it?

Found it. On page 262 http://69.108.208.137/ryang/modify/r...ls/11_Body.pdf. Seems like a lot of work though to get one light working. I probably will though because it really bugs me how only the volume down and down button are illuminated. I'll post back later if anyone else has this problem.
