High pitched hum from the engine
I have a strange high pitched sound coming from my engine area and I'd be thankful if anyone has any ideas about what is going on.
The sound:
When it happens:
- When the key is turned to ON
When it stops:
- When the key is turned to ACC/OFF or engine started
- When I remove the EGI COMP2 or EGI INJ fuse as well as the Engine relay; removing EGI COMP1 does NOT stop the sound.
Although it doesn't seem to be harming anything, it is annoying
