Hesitation with throttle.

Hesitation with throttle.
I think I am going to take the car into the dealer to have it checked out. While the problem is getting a little better since I bought it 2000 miles ago (bought used) the engine still cuts out if I push down on the first part of the throttle.
The problem is, it seems there is a flat spot on my throttle. Happens in every gear no matter what RPM. If I am coasting in gear and gently push on the throttle, the engine actually deccelerates and if I push it further it snaps back and pulls forward. It makes it tough to shift because it causes a chug. Also, if I am cruising in traffic and I gently apply throttle (same spot on throttle depression) I get cutting out of the engine power. However, if I set the cruise control for the same speed it's smooth.
I think that it may be a problem with the throttle sending unit. Any one else have this problem?

Its normal, u just have to get used to driving it. Shifting faster actually makes it easier to drive smoothly. First gear will require holding more throttle when moving off
