You're not gonna like this. When my car did this, it needed a new engine. I would stop and turn off the car to fill it at the gas station and the car had to sit and cool before it would restart. It sounds like the same problem you are having. Get a compression check.

NEW ENGINE.. that is great news right? I hope thats is the problem.... I am sure the dealership will give me the run around.... I called them on friday after I replaced all that Sh*t and it still was doing the same thing.... they told me on the phone to bring it in on Thur. and leave it with them.... They wanted $1234.34 to replace what i did at home for $347.00... I hate the dealership.. until now (if i get a new motor)

Just take the receipts for the new parts that you installed and show them. They have no reason to change anything. All they need to do is a compression test and maybe a vacuum test.
The answer will be evident when they do that.
Tell them you'll pay for the compression test. But if the engine is bad that you want your money back for the test. It's a lot less than $1234.34 they want to charge.

You need a new engine.
