Ok so here is the story:

Driving down the road tonight all nice and dandy, then all of a sudden my dash lights up like a christmas tree with every single warning light, and my rpm's and speed went to zero, but i was clearly moving and the car was still on. kept driving for another 10 seconds and everything was back to normal except for an ABS light and CEL light. Got to a stop light, turned the car off and back on, and the ABS light disappeared, but the CEL is still there.

Anybody ever have this happen or can anybody help better yet? Im getting the cel code read tomorrow but it almost seems more involved than that.

EDIT* car has 48k miles on it, stock everything.

 

sounds electrical (obviously lol). Check your connections to the battery. Check all your fuses and, just for safety, make sure all your lights work.

I'll search for a diagram..

 

my car was doing the same thing you might be having a problem with your ecu. my car is a '07 and they had a recall on the ecu. take it to the dealership and see if that is what is the deal or to a local shop and have them run a diagnostics on it.

 

Go get your cel read and see what it says if you did not previously have a cel on.

 

Your battery is near dead or connection or it is not charging and the battery is near dead.
