Hey everyone,
So I recently acquired a Metra kit and new deck, I have been doing the install over the last few days because I haven't had to drive my car. So I went to start my car, found the battery dead due to testing the new radio and making sure everything works a couple times plus I think its a bad battery. Anyways so I jumped my car and after it was running for about 10 seconds I noticed a funny noise coming from the front of the engine that i've never heard before.

To sum it all up, my car had been sitting for 5 days, in my garage, outside there had been a 20 degree temp. drop across these days due to a snow storm coming in. Go to start, has dead battery, jump it and now it is making a noise that sounds like a vacuum leak to me.

The video was shot with the engine still cold because I don't want to run it too long in case something happens, I have no dash lights on saying anything is wrong, Oil pressure is exactly where it normally is as well.

If you could give any feedback it would be great! I just want to drive my baby and not have her blow up on me! lol

 

Also, the noise does not change with RPM's it stays consistent and rythmic

 

Are you sure it doesn't change with RPM? If it only showed up after the car was sitting it's probably something simple. I'd check if there was anything rubbing on any of the belts.
