HELP! car just die.

hi,
i just bought a used 2004 RX8 few months ago with 40k on the clock. Today, when i drive it, it just die. I pull over wait for few minutes then start it again.

after about 5mins drive, it will die again. no CEL. it just lost power totally, battery light came on and CEL flashing couple of times and die. It keep happening like 6 times today.

when i start the car again, the CEL is not on. it will only flash when the car is about to die.

Could be alot of things. Maybe the battery. Maybe vapor lock/

Take it back to where you bought it.

my car is a MT by the way. forgot to mention it earlier.
Just got it back from dealer today. They said they done a 99point inspections or something like that.
What they found out is... the gas cap is not closed tight enough...
They just replace the battery 2months ago. so vapor lock? whats that?

Gas cap should not cause power lost.

if it happens again, try to *drag* it to the dealership to show them.
