YES!!!
Recalls are good for the life of the car, regardless of owner, miles, or age. You could have bought a car that's 30 years old, and if it had a recall order on it that was never performed, it would still qualify.
Don't do this work yourself. Take it in to Mazda and have them do it for you FOR FREE!! There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to replace this yourself.

I guess my math skills are falling... Recall = $0 < $125 used control arm. Right?? What, exactly, was there to say, "yes" to?? 'Ya just spend $125 on a used part, AND you have to do the labor, when you could have had it all done for FREE, AND get a warranty on the replaced part to boot...

yeah i could have but the hassle to bring the car to stock would have been a PITA id have to remove coilover, sways , (illegal)mods etc etc. plus i need the part asap it should be in monday, my local dealers didnt even know what part i was reffering to. And the delay would have been a real drag.
But do whatever you want, man. I just hope you didn't buy a used part that probably is a defective on in the first place, hence the reason you got such a great "deal" on it in the first place.

Doesn't matter. A recall is a recall. Doesn't matter what aftermarket part, abusive driving, etc. has been done if it's a recall. You aren't asking for warranty work, in which case those things can matter. It's a recall... As in, the part was found to be defective from the factory, and Mazda will replace it for free...
