I need to replace the ballast for my car, headlight stopped working so i took out the headlight and the ballast is all corroded. I called mazda up and they wont sell it alone, i have to buy the whole headlight assembly and its costs about 1000. So i was wondering if anyone knew if i could use an aftermarket ballast without having any issues.

I have the same problem... im going to try a aftermarked HID kit to fix it cause $1007 dollars for a new headlight is just DUMB!
