So a couple weeks ago I noticed a pretty hard knocking in my front passenger side wheel well when I take left turns. I checked out my front wheel and noticed I was missing a lug nut on it, so I figured that was the issue and was maybe causing the stud to knock on the wheel or something.


So I had the car off the ground the other day to paint my calipers...checked in the wheel well and everything looked fine. So I bought another lug nut and threw it on there and everything seemed to work well.


I took a really hard left turn with just me in the car and it was perfectly fine, but then I had my brother in the car yesterday and was just taking normal left turns and the knocking came back, and still happens when he is not in the car.


I read something about it possibly being the aftermarket sway bar, but everything looked fine when I checked that. It clearly has something to do with when the right side of the car is bearing weight and compressing, but what would cause this? My car only has 44k miles on it and the shocks/struts are not shot.

is the suspension aftermarket?
double check those sway bars, if they're aftermarket, look at the bushings and mounting points.

 

The endlink does look like it might be a little messed up, ill try to snap a picture and post it up here. It seems to happen only when I turn the wheel a lot, it doesn't happen when I just make slight turns.
