Hallelujah - flooded startup
The car was stored for the winter. I thought it would be a good idea to let it run a little. It started, ran and died. FLOODED, my fault ugh
We tried the pedal to the floor, no go - we tried dissconnect the fuel pump fuse, no go - new plugs & battery, pedal to the floor, dissconnect fuse, no go
I'd like to thank the poster that said to remove the rear seat and cover panel underneath to access the fuel pump connector, disconnect, 1/3 throttle etc.
It took both my husband and I, him in back with the connector and me in the drivers seat on the pedal and ignition and two days of trying after the battery had to be recharged but
YAY it's running !!!! (new coils are going in this weekend)
I can't stop smiling after driving that mammoth Dodge Ram all winter
