Getting hard to get into gears

In stop and go traffic, and as it heats up, the car has issues getting into gears.

My clutch pedal has always squeaked. Half the travel of my clutch pedal does nothing, and the second half of the travel is when I feel resistance. The engagement point is pretty much half of that which is 1/4 to the ground in total.

It seems I should bleed the clutch to see how it goes first. Then move on to check if it is the slave or the master cylinder. Any other advice? I will also inspect the clutch bracket.

When I got home yesterday I almost couldn't get it into reverse. I had to force it in, these is pedal pressure but can't get it into gear.

It won't go into reverse or first, but it will go into 2nd and the other gears.

The brake fluid was recently flushed and same with tranny fluid.

Adjust pedal play. Also what did you use in the transmission? The wrong oil can cause serious shifting issues.
