front roter problom
Ok so the outher day wile I was accelerating my car made an odd noise and I lost power and than the check engine started to blink, I managed to get it home and check the code and it was a miss fire in bank one well I tryed a cylinder drop test ( don't know if that works on a rotery ) but the coils seemed to be week so I changed them out along with the wires and plugs , and now I'm still having the same problom its only firing off of the back roter backfiring really bad exsesive smoke , so I thought only half the engine was flooded so I Tryed pushing down the accelerater and turning over the engine over to clear it out to no use , I want to do a compreshen test but i was told i need some special tools i dont have , iv been a mechanic for years but this is a whole outher world to me , please help

which coils/ wires/ plugs did you use?
Is the engine unflooded now? Can you start the car and drive?
To do a compression test, the best way is to take it to the dealer. There are some people on this forum who actually own one. What is your location? Maybe someone in your area can lend you one..
Also, is your car manual or auto?
You may want to check the cat to see if there is any damage/ rattles

I just used what I could get from the auto part store I know probily a bad idea but I needed up and running quick they were ngk plugs i cant rember the coils or wires it is an 04 mt i can start it and it throws the same misfire code and runs really bad backfires bad ,blows smoke that smells like raw fuel , pulled the front lead plug and it was soaked so I Tryed leaving the plug out and cranked it to blow the excess fuel out ( don't know if that was a bad idea either ) and replaced the plug and had the same problom so im assuming the front roter is not firing bucause i had a wet plug agian, havent checked the cat yet , and i have a compershen tester that wont work?
