Fog light issue
about two months ago, I realized my driver's side fog lamp was out.
I ordered new bulbs, and when I went to replace the bulbs, I started with the driver's side. When I unhooked the bulb, the actual pig-tail clip that fastens to the bulb had a nice crack in it, and about 2 ounces of stagnant water came rushing out.
I installed the new bulb and nothing.
I inspected the old bulb and realized the filament was still whole. The passenger's side is still working, so I didn't check the fuse... so am I going to have to splice in a new pigtail connector to the driver's side?
Luckily, I ordered the wiring harness pack with the luminics bulbs... so those should splice in alright.
Any insight would be appreciated!
Thansk again.

test the resistance or continuity of the bulb to make sure it's blown....Out of limits resistance it is broken somwhere no continuity same thing....prob got water in the socket and shorted something but don't know y the fuse would not have blown....

if you are replacing the connectors then i see no problem. i would however assume the contacts inside of the connectors are corroded clean the corrosion out of the original female contacts and clean with some contact cleaner. then i would turn the fog light switch and head light switch on and using a multimeter, test both connectors for 12V.
