FFS HELP Security info on ECU reprogrammed, now radio doesnt work
Okay. I've tried everything.
Radio was working. Replaced the ECU in the car with one that wasn't bricked. Dealer reprogrammed the new ECU since the immobilizer was active due to the key not being recognized.
Got the car back, and the radio doesn't work. Radio was working with the old bricked ECU, and Radio was working with the new ECU BEFORE it was programmed.
I've replaced fuses
Tested voltage to the faceplate
Replaced the faceplate, and the headunit
Radio and little LCD doesn't turn on. I'm going to explode. WHY? Dealer said they thought it was the faceplate. Replaced it with a new one. noooope.

As far as I remember the stock radio, even tho no one ever wants it, has a security feature "build in"
at start up, it check against the Car's info to see if it's still in the "same car", if not, it will not start.
the manual should have a sticker somewhere that tells you the "Security code/Key" for the head unit. you need to enter that information by pressing the number button on the head unit.
I think this is the issue you're having. or like Stealth said there is something wrong with the programming, cuz the PATS info should be the same ...
