So i have an 05 Shinka that iv had since january, and everytime i idle, it smells like im sitting in a pool of gas, and you can see the light smoke coming from my exhaust pipes, its so bad that it turns the tips of my exhaust black! I think the cat is bad because when i accelerate i can here like a clattering sound coming from under the car, anyone had this problem before? if it is the cat, anyone know how much that would be to replace? has anyone ever used universal cats on the 8's?

I have rattling in my exhaust, somewhere., idk where but I don't have the smell or any of that, if I were u I would take it to a shop tell them to check it shouldn't take more than 1 hour and if they say it's the CAT then u go to Mazda which the CAT has a 80,000 mile warranty
