Need some assistance for 2004 RX-8 with roughly 34k on the engine, Automatic

Couple days ago I was just doing some daily driving, and after a long continuous uphill section of the highway I noticed my engine started to sputter like its about to die and I had a hard time with acceleration. After stopping at an intersection it went out on me, I did manage to get the engine back on and made it home.

Started again today with no issue, I drove it around just to be sure and I didn't notice any strange noise. I'm bringing it in to the dealer and have the check along with my engine maintenance.

Also noticing my engine makes a lot of noise and vibration when idling.

Can someone help me with this problem?
