the afrs are always 11.2-20.3 never going below (higher?) then 15 when on throttle
and make that 1 more time for the hopefully last time lol

hey Ghost - 1) I think the coolant light was unrelated, especially if the AP said it wasnt overheating. That was a well-known issue with the older coolant tanks.
2) fuel pump issue could do it, and perhaps that's what going on. But if its very RPM-specific like that, I would definitely think about the SSV valve (or did it have another acronym?) Specifically, the one that opens up only at 7200RPM and is known to get stuck a lot....definitely a possibility. Remember the tach is off a lot so that hesitation may actually be at 7200.

thanks for the tip andrew. yeah the coolant is definitely the sensor.. and the fuel pump completely cured the high rpm struggle. she actually feels a lot smoother than before. the AFR reading is normal according to the AP, so i'm glad that did it, and it wasn't anything serious.
