Engine dies at idle after UIM removal/replacement
Changed my oil just now and had to remove the UIM to get to the filter, since I don't have a cap wrench. Everything went smoothly except a little coolant loss, easily fixed, so I took it out for a spin to get the new oil moving through everything. Feels much better as per usual, but my engine will now choke out - it drops revs at idle almost 95% of the time and just cuts out after trying to save itself it seems. I did notice a hose that seemed that it should be attached to something - a vacuum house perhaps? With a green and white little plastic ball type thing on it, and a smaller black hose coming off that. Does this need to be reattached somewhere? I left it unplugged as I didn't remember taking it off in the first place.
I have an 04 with no work done and 97k miles. Also please note, I have NOT searched so I apologize in advance if this has become a common question, but I looked through most of those threads already and find no such answer, and also figure the specificity of the question renders a search rather useless...and I work in five hours aha. Any help is appreciated!

Yes that line needs to be reconnected to the UIM underneath in the middle up against the firewall, you should be able to reach it without pulling the UIM.
That green and white thing is a one way check valve.
Leaving a line like that disconnected causes a vacuum leak which makes the car run lean and idle like ****.
