Engine coolant light

hey my fellow rx8 folks, i am new to this website and i feel bad making my first post or comment on this site a problem post but anyway. my engine coolant light comes on when i push my car hard ( usually coming off a exit ramp). i noticed that it usually happens when its around 80 to 90 degree outside and i speed up from about 30 or 35 to about 90. my temp gauge still be reading the med range. when it comes on it usually stay on for about 2 miles or so then goes off which spoils my fun because when it comes on i take my foot off it. i am just wondering if anyone else is having this problem or have had this problem. can someone help me??

OMG seriously? there was a post about this yesterday and the day before and the day before that ... use the SEARCH feature bro ... the 8 has a faulty sensor many had em and all you need to do is unplug it and monitor the collant by yourself or take it in and have the entire reservoir changed coz its part of it

^Next time use the 'advanced search' and limit the results to a specific area of the forum (like the tech garage).
You'll get a ton of garbage if you try to search the whole forum.

RP is good for engine oil, but don't use it for the tranny and diff.
Its been known to cause problems there.

I've only been using RP for my engine oil, so I can't say from experience.
