Ebrake lever not locking in place ... please help
 

Hey everyone I have a serious issue with my ebrake lever. For some reason it doesnt want to lock in place like the lock or gear is missing. I tried removing the plastic cover, and that didn't go so well, i Removed the plastic button but that didn't do any good. If possible i rather not remove the whole assembly because it looks like a pain to do but i have to i would(gah the whole center console).. maybe someone knows how to fix it easily, a diagram would definitely help me if someone has one to share... :cussing: Anyone have any ideas how to fix the ebrake lever so it will lock again..? I'm definitely:tear: not driving my 8 around until its fix..

does the lever have tension?

yes lever has tension, lever just won't lock... i think the problem is the parking brake lever, gonna see if i can find one at the local junkyard...
