easy on the flames... please
ok. 2005 rx-8 4 speed auto,, ( my wife got it for me while i was over in the sand traps, 2 tours.) i have had 2 rx-7s, ( loved them) my rx-8 is stock, 43,000 mi. i put new coils in , wires, plugs, and today a new batt. advanced auto the exat fit. $ 100.00. thing is now when i get it to 6-7k, the coolent light comes on, but when i drop the rpms the light goes off. the temp gadge stays the same...( but u know that could be 150- 250). any clues on where to serch? iam new to computers so if u could tell me how to do that google search thing i would be greatful! and yes it has a hot start problem. but i think milky oil & a week batt. could be the clurip. i got a 280 highway trip planed, mabey that will get rid of the condensation. thanks...

Search google for that, replace coolant light with whatever you want.
Hot start problems are generally compression related, so you may want to get it tested as its a 05 and going to be nearing the end of its warranty on the engine. Maybe its already went past, call Mazda and find out.
