Truth.
Not a day goes by that I don't think about Brugge.
Wheel bearings move around their race at a fraction of wheel rotation speed. That is why the sound is off.
That said, there are a bunch of things to check with regards to something simply making contact when the suspension is loaded.

hardly a week goes by that i dont visit somewhere in holland
Thank you, i knew there was a solid explanation behind that
well, off hand i've thought of the hub/bearing assembly, all things alignement related, and the diff. (although w/o proper guidance i'd be looking only for the OBVIOUS here) anything you wanna throw in for good measure?
slower than wheel rotation?
5 inch curb gone over directly --wheels not at an angle?
somethings bent?
suspension is not binding anywhere right?
wouldn't wheeling bearing make a louder sound while turning?
OD

no suspension binding, no obvious damage any where under there except foe alignment. even that isnt really bad, doesnt pull much at all, stable well into 140-150km/h where light vibrations develope, stable steering around town though i wouldnt push it hard as i noticed it was twichy when i was testing it out.
as i said the sound was initially only really audible in a narrow speed range and was not obviously noticable then. but as i have put a few km on it getting back and forth to work, the noise has become pronounced
