thats amazing...my car died on me 3 times within half hour of driving...i got on it hard like 7-8k rpms in 1st and i get a tin can with marbles in it sound coming from the engine or maybe underneath my car...like center counsel area, by my shifter. Im thinking its the cat....after it does the marbles sound i have a loss of power and then when i came to a stop at the light, my car just shut off. no hesitation or anything...just straight shut off. I am lost with the problem...i am going to clean my fuel pump and i get my cat checked out next week. i am also going to get a compression test done...with my car at 73k miles i should be set for both warranties

I had a pump jockey put 87 in my car by mistake and ran terribly. Octane boost helped solve the problem asap though.

93 ONLY (or91 if that's the best you can get)...I was gonna put 100 in the other day just to see what it ran like(most likey no change) but I think it was like 7bucks a gallon

Mazda specifies 91, so that's OK. Premium around here is 93. A couple of Sunoco stations carry 91 as well, but I don't frequent those.
One of these days, when I'm in a really **** mood, I'll fill with half 93 and half 89.

The only problem is that some dealers will insist on seeing full proof of maintenance before honoring the warranty. Most people don't keep oil change records that long, and fewer pass them on to the next owner.
So at least make sure that you keep up with scheduled maintenance from when you got yours, and save all the receipts.

Applies all ALL Rx-8 from 04-08 not sure about 09+
BUT! there are cases that the previous owners might have void the warranty before hand, the only way to find out is to give MNAO a call and give them your VIN number. they will be able to tell you right away.
Warranty goes with the car. Nobody has to do anything to transfer it to a new owner. Check the FAQs and stickies to see exactly what there is...powetrain to 60K, engine to 100K.
