Dash light meanings

I can't seem to find a list of what the dash lights mean. I'd like to know just for fun and because one is coming on.

Yesterday I had one under my temp gauge come on that looks like this (!) with like dots under the ! and I assume that means coolant due to it's location. My gf had a similar light come on in her car but it was an arrow pointing down.

I assumed it was coolant and I checked it today when cold and it was about 3 inches from the top of the plastic reservoir and I filled it to the top but the light didn't go off. Could it be a bad sensor or possibly thermostat now? that's even if that light means coolant.

well I apparently found out it means power steering. So I'm wondering does this mean there is a problem now with my steering or what? There isn't fluid to put in so it can't be low. I'm worried because a friend of mine has an 04, mine is an 05, and his power steering went out a few months back.

That is the symbol for the TPMS aka the tire pressure monitoring system, go out and check the air in your tires. Then go to www.mazdausa.com and under the owners section signup so you can download a copy of the owners manual.

I would but I haven't had the car too long and it didn't come with anything in it. Neglect isn't anyones fault but my own though.

I am doing homework by asking. Last time I aired up I couldn't find the psi for my tires. It's not on the door. The box that has the min and max is blank
