Cruise Control Pulsing
I have a 05 RX8 with 56k miles on it. I have had it since right around 30k. Just last night I got a pulsing of my cruise control on my way home from my friends house, and today I had it all the way home from detroit to chicago. The pulse verys depending on speed, It never changes the speed and the pulses hardly register on the tach. The car drives fine and smooth without the cruise on but as soon as i set the cruise it feels like the car cant maintain a steady speed. The speed doesn't change however it is the most annoying ride in the world.
I will say that I may have done a hard launch the same day this happened dropping the clutch from around 6k, forgetting to turn the DSC off, and I may have heard a pop or something in the back(really not sure). Does anyone have any Ideas what may have happened?
I tried pulling the leads off the battery for a min, to see if that would reset the problem if it was electrical but it didn't help at all.
Does anyone have any Ideas before I take it into the shop tomorrow. Could i have blown a disc in the LSD and a sensor is sensing something funny?
It seems like there may be something kind of shaky in my drive train, when I put the car in revers I don't get a smooth slip from the clutch the car shakes a little. Again Just something I noticed because I was trying to find anything new. Not sure if that was there before or not.
If anyone has any Ideas let me know. If not I will let ya know if the Local Mazda dealership can find anything.

your LSD is not a clutch pack LSD, no disc to break.
I would say probably either the cruise control module is not getting a stable signal or the software has some problem.
