Credit card key issue

Finally not a car won't start/coil thread!
My cc key has never been great, the buttons in the fob have never worked well but a new problem has arisen.

I was packing up my car for my big move and opening and closing the doors alot and I close the trunk and it just starts beeping and wouldn't stop till I opened a different door. Even since than it has auto locked itself as I have walked away from the car. I have to look it with the key, the button doesn't work either to lock.
I thought the battery, but to open the door the little black button works and it detects the key in the car so I don't have to use the key in the ignition.

Any ideas what could be causing this? And how to fix it?

autolock is a function of the system. it's not on by default so it looks like you turned it on somehow. Might want to have the dealership take a look at it, or buy a new key off ebay.
