Compression loss on one of the rotors

I have been a long time loorker of this great community but I am a first time poster. I wanted to start with some input for the others like presenting my build of CarPC but I need to start with something different.
I own a '07 RX-8 EU spec Hi-Power which I bought on November and my warranty finished last November.
Last Friday I visited my local dealer in Warsaw (yes, I am from Poland) to check my engine because of starting problems and loss of power. I also felt like the car is running most of the time on one rotor.
It turned out that I have a compression loss on one of the rotors:
R1: 460 kPa
R2: 740 kPa
They claim there is no fix to that and I need to buy a new engine. I have read a bit about it this forums and I am afraid I will be joining the new engine club soon. Is there any way to fix?
I have checked that Pettit Racing is able to rebuilt the engine but i haven't found any one who has done it at their place (or no one shared this in the forums). What is your opinion on that. If I was going to rebuilt mine maybe it would be cheaper for me to buy one of the shelf from them but again I haven't found any opinions on their engines.
I would really appreciate your feedback as I don't have the same possibilities here in Central Europe as you have in USA or Asia.

There was a YouTube video, similar to this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riGnr8fhy4U, that showed in detail how to use WD40 & water to clean each rotor. The video showed how to remove the windshield washer bottle to access the nipples where you connect the hose to the solution.
You can also use ZoomZoom cleaner or Seafoam in a similar manner.

If I will use Seafoam to clean it will my compression be back to normal? I am not sure whether I understand it properly. I thought Seafoam is used for cleaning purposes and the compression is lost due to some components being worn out. Please correct me if I am wrong.

It is used to remove carbon deposits that could be causing low compression.
Steamcleaning won't do wonders in your case.
Pettit UK shouldn't rebuild the engines in loco. I think that they get the rebuilt one from Pettit Usa and send your core back.
A lot of Uk engines are popping lately, probably a sign of the extra wear caused by pcm reflashes done too late and lack of premix "culture".

So you think the SeaFoam cleaning is not going to put my compression back in shape. Does it mean I need a new engine? Are there any people with similar problems who used SeaFoam and regained a proper compression values??
To be honest I have not use the premix at all and I have found about it recently on Pettit's site.
You're are wright - the rebuilt is done in USA - and UK acts as sort of intermediate.

If wear is the main issue seafoam\steamcleaning and the like won't help much. If it's mostly carbon buildup they might though but it doesn't look like you have such a problem.
I premix using mobil 710 btw, Pettit makes some interesting stuff but why settle with the "magic potion" when you can buy something which properties are known and shown?
hadwloj of your local forums had an engine for sale a while ago. He rebuilt it after having his car sorted out, that may be worth a shot since he could be selling it for cheaper.
