When i had my car in the dealership they recommended i have the clutch assembly replaced soon but i was wondering how important is it to have this replaced and what can happen if i don't replace it? Thanks

 

In a nutshell, worn clutch that goes means the car does not move under it's own power.

 

If you wait too long to replace a worn clutch you may wind up having to replace the flywheel as well.

How many miles on your car? (Or on the clutch...was it replaced when the new engine went in?) Do you feel any clutch slippage?
