Cloudy Headlights

I have a 04 rx8 and the headlight lens on my car has somewhat of a fog/cloudy places on the inner side of the outter lens (if that makes sense). My question being is it possible to take the headlight assembly apart and be able to clean this out? Or is it just something where id have to replace the entire housing?

If the plastic is cloudy, its on the outside. If is moisture its on the inside. If its just cloudy, you can wetsand with 1500grit, then 2000, and then 2500 and then polish. High speed buffers need great care, they will burn into plastic in a second. Hand polishing takes more effort but is possible. You can practice on junk plastic first.

Its not moisture but it looks maybe like it was where moisture was at one point. Im certain its on the inner side of that housing. Its going to be something I am going to have to open the housing up if thats possible.

It is possible to get bake off the lens, clean it, then glue it back. It just takes ***** of steel. Search and you'll find a few threads about people who've done it.
