Hi everyone,

I'm hearing this clattering noise when I excellerate. Is this normal or is this something I should have checked out? I noticed this yesterday when I was kinda gunning it from a dead stop or even when I'm going down the road and I punch it, it does it as well.

OH! just in case you need to know, it's an automatic!

Are you using premium gas? Or you may have got a bad tank cause it sounds like that could be it.

 

I haven't been using premium gas, but I guess now I better, huh. It's just soooo expensive here in TX. O well, better treat the rx8 good!

Yoda... I am in Texas as well, and believe me, it's not that expensive. I thought the same thing until I flew to Columbus Ohio on business last week. Regular was $2.06!

 

93 oct just up the road from me was $2.32 today.... i guess that is better then $3.99 for the racing fuel that i had to put in my mustang!

 

no complaining about gas prices from people in Texas!! its a good 50 or more cents cheaper per gallon than here
