Hey guys, I noticed today when i shifted from park into reverse it made a clank noise. Its not too loud, i cant hear it with windows down. And it seems to only be audible when its cold. Can someone help?

This with the car stationary? And you just shift it into reverse with your foot on the brake and it goes clank,correct?

 

yea. or maybe slight roll cuz its downhill

Sounds like the universal joint on the drive shaft.
Put the car in Park, put the emergency brake on. Jack the car up. Install the appropriate safety stands under car. Crawl underneath and put your hands around the drive shaft. Now rotate it with opposite force left and right. And see if you hear the noise.

 

i will try this. today when i was leaving, i let my idle roll down near 1k before shifting to reverse, and was on flat ground and no sound came out. but this weekend i willl try checking
