Check engine light!!!!help!!!

well im not sure which owner i am probably 2nd or 3rd bought it from the dealership when it was around 48xxx, been keeping up with tuneup other than sparks and coolant. all reacalls have been serviced

drove my car on Friday after a long time of it just sitting... (i probably drove it for only 4 days the past month.. ) i was running out of gas so i got some and after that stop by a store will quick to take a **** and when i came out it couldn't start i popped the hood to look around. went back inside and it started... after that went somewhere again chilled for like 30 min and it couldn't start again i waited a few min and it was able to start... the following day i got rough idles motor vibrations and a check engine light....

so far i changed battery(needed a new one anyways)
did oil, check MAF, check alternator, cleaned fuel system, check coil wires, did a battery reset and currently trying to check spark plugs i just need the socket.

i doubt that its a blown apex seal or anything wrong with the engine itself. seems more electrical.... if not that than watered down gas? in which ive already used fuel cleaner to at least neutralize the situation. no difference...

yeah i have been doing research online for the past two days. i was thinking about just getting it diagnosed Monday, but when i drove it around the neighborhood it dies sometimes and i have to put it in gear to start it again....
not sure if it can make it to the shop...

If you have a CEL, the only way to know what could be causing it for sure is to get the code read.

Come back when you have a code and we can help further diagnose the problem. Throwing parts at it isn't going to help.

You can get the code read at an auto parts store usually for free. Or you can find a local member who has a code reader to read it for you.

So you've gone over 48k miles without changing the plugs?
You likely have a misfire code and might require changing plugs.
But get the code read just to be sure. Autozone will do it for free.

or just get your plugs thru Amazon. they probably have the best price

if your car has all TSB/recalls up to date then its probably not it ... it could be a dead engine.

check the cel first.

A breaker bar for your spark plugs
Better make sure to put anti-seize on the new plugs.

LOL let us know how the new plugs work out for you.
Remember to clear the CEL after you install the plugs too.

allriiight recently replaced plugs because they were worn out anyways but now i have another code which is p0506

so after searching information and figuring out what it ment basically opened another list of stuff....

A P0506 DTC trouble code may be caused by one or more of the following:

A vacuum leak
An air restriction in the intake air path or exhuast
A faulty positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve
Damaged/failed/dirty throttle body
Internal engine problem (I HOPE ITS NOT THIS)
Failed PCM

so i guess im going to check the vaccum leaks right now anyone have any suggestions on which one's to check at what location?

for anyone that had the same problem this is pretty much how it was fixed....

after replacing the spark plugs in which i figured out 3 of them were dead in which i was only running on one rotor...

i then tested my wires and only 1 of them worked...

i then checked my ignition coils and of course only 1 worked...
so in conclusion...
spark plugs.....$65
wires ......$150ish
ignition coils......$50 each

Keep in mind I am rounding up...
total price let just say $400
