central locking not working?

central locking not working?
hiya,, my door chime is off and my central locking will not work with the fobs,,,i have tried to reprogram the fobs and the process works right up till the end when you press the fob button but nothing,, does this mean my receivers are broke,, would be most grateful of any help.... thankyou
