Central locking. Clicking but not locking or unlocking.
Anyone here ever deal with the infamous RX8 door unlocking/locking issue? I've spent hours looking on the internet and it seems to be happening to a ton of people but no one seems to have a solution.... Essentially, my car sounds like it's trying to unlock when you press the fob (you hear the clicking sound over and over again) and it sounds like it's trying to lock when you press then lock button on the fob but the only way to lock or unlock my car now is by using the actual key.... 🤔
Seems like there are a ton of threads and NO ONE HAS POSTED AN ANSWER. Losing my mind because it's been a year now and I'm getting tired of using the key.

Is it just one door or both of them?
Because there is a relatively common issue with door motors in these cars wearing out to the point where they won't fully unlock or lock the car. Solution is to replace the door lock.
