CEL possibly caused by new brake pads/rotors?
Hi, I'm a long time reader, first time poster:
I searched the forums for similar threads, so please forgive me if I missed it.
My local garage just replaced the front brake rotors and pads on Thursday. Everything was kosher until this evening (Sunday) when the CEL came on. I drove the car Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (about 200 miles worth) w/o the CEL coming on. Light was solid, appeared at engine start-up, and the car ran just fine. I will be going to Advance tomorrow morning to get my error codes read, but was wondering if the CEL could have been prompted by the computer reacting to the new hardware?
Any input would be appreciated.

There are sensors at the wheels for the DSC/TC and the auto-leveling headlights. Perhaps one of them was damaged during the brake job. The DTC code(s) should lead you to the cause of the CEL.
