Question CEL and oil in air filter

I just bought a 2005 this Monday and after going over the car i realized that the oil level was high, then today after turning on the car the light came on almost instantly after not driving it for about 2hrs.

The light came on right after autozone closed, so that will have to wait till the morning... I started looking deeper and noticed that there is what seems to be oil/gas mixture in my air filter...

I took out the MAF sensor to take a look... Dont know really what to look for in this but it was dry and seemed to be clean free from containment's...

Do you think that the oil level is somehow causing it to exhaust oil out through the intake, possibly causing a bad MAF sensor???

Im going to take it to autozone in the morning but i'm hoping its a simple problem like this.... seems to be running just fine though

Extremely fun to drive but kinda a bummer that i get a problem so soon in ownership

Any way to tell if the sensor is bad just by looking at it?
