So long story short Ive been talking about this with Byako for a while now. I had the greddy exhaust on my car when i bought it 2 years ago. In january I installed the AP mid, never got a cel which was strange. I then installed the BHR ignition kit and now the AEM cai. I have yet to get a cel which I guess is a good thing but has anyone else heard of this or know why I am not getting one? I dont think my ecu has been flashed. We are under the assumption that my computer is just adjusting with these mods...? Any input is welcome lol

 

only thing that you described that would give you a CEL is the midpipe, and there have been some people that reported no CEL with a catless pipe for weeks.....come back in a month or two and i am sure it will pop up.

lol well then consider yourself a lucky one, just don't bank on it never coming on....luck of the draw i guess.

 

Some of the people with earlier year cars are the ones saying they got no cel, so maybe you are one of the lucky few. Mine usually stays off for 100 to 500+ miles at a time depending on my driving habits. Usually when I go for several highway trips it will come on, but city driving doesn't seem to trigger it very fast.

 

FWIW 2005 MT here, mine comes on right away.
