CEL brings engine code of Cylinder 1 misfire and O2 sensor

I have a 2004 Mazda RX-8, I'm getting CEL codes of P0301, P2096, P2270, and it repeats codes of P0301 & P2096.
I work at a service shop and we just have a cheap scanner so it doesn't bring up the 4 digits codes. P0301 says misfire in cylinder 1 so I went online and seen where someone had specified as the front rotor. I don't like anything to be wrong with my car so I replaced the spark plugs with NGK Laser Iridium plugs, replaced the spark plug wires with IGN Magnecor plug wires, and replaced the coils with OE replacement coils ordered from O'Reilly's. Cleared the CEL, still have the same problem. However when I look under my hood it appears to what looks like the PCV hose is disconnected from the oil fill tube & my co-workers said replacing that could possibly solve my problem.

The 2004 model had a pcv? I don't think so

Learn to post a pic.

Just reconnect the hose!

My co-worker is going to show me how to post a picture of it. But the hose is melted seems like where the previous owners have re-attached it and then possibly broke off again when they replaced the alternator. And we were under the impression that it didn't have a serviceable fuel filter, where is it located?

Fuel filter is locate on the fuel pump.
Fuel pump is located under the driver side passenger seat.
You'll need a special tool likely to remove the giant lock ring.
I don't believe the fuel filter is considered serviceable.
