Cel

I recently changed the coils, wires, and plugs on my 04. First tune up at 38K. Anyway, the car is running great, but today my CEL came on. I took it to Autozone and the code is P0410 (Secondary air injection system fault). Has anyone experienced this code? Thanks.

How recently did you do the change outs listed above before this code showed up?
Did you forget to tighten all your connections?
I'd check them all first before starting to look at other things.

Could be the air pump, could be the air pump relay.

Also, not to scare you, but I also ran across this after doing an advanced search on P0410:

It's right off a worksheet for somebody's car at the dealer.

"Found P0410 and checked secondary air system and found nothing bad in system, everything is working to specifications, checked and found that CAT is clogged and Engine vacum is low, clogged CAT cause excessively hight amperage to be drawn by secondary air pump replaced CAT and verified repair ok".

Keep in mind, that's just one possibility.

It was 3 days later. I just checked all connections and found loose air hose. I tightened it, did a reset and the CEL went off. I have not driven it again, but will do so as soon as I get off and see what happens. I hope its not the CAT!!!!
