Car won't start. PLEASE HELP!!!
Ok. Here's the story. I left my house Saturday night and got about a mile away when the check engine light started to flash and the car began to hesitate dramatically. Very little power. I stopped at a gas station and decided to just start it up and drive it back home. It hesitantly cranked over on the first try and I got it back home. Had to keep the RPMS around 4 or 5000 to keep it moving.
When I get home I looked under the car and the catalytic converter was glowing orange, so I suspect unburnt fuel was getting in there.
Today, I changed the ignition coils out and I check to make sure all of the wires were in good shape. Just put new plugs in like 3 months ago.
The car will not turn over now. It acts like it wants to, but it just won't fire up. Is it most likely flooded??? I don't really want to tow it to the dealer and spend a fortune, but at the same time I'm beginning to wonder if it's the ignition system.
Any ideas? Is it most likely flooded or do you guys think I have another problem aside from the ignition system??

Remove spark plugs.
Inspect their condition.
Clean if possible, replace if needed.
Spritz a bit of engine or transmission fluid into rotors as you turn engine by hand to get oil on apex seal in order to increase compression slightly.
Install clean or new spark plugs.
Let sit for a couple of hours.
Crank over, and hope it starts.

What do you think about popping the clutch???? I don't really have the money for spark plugs or the tools to get them off right now. I am pretty much broke till Friday and I don't want to go without a car for that long. Would popping the clutch work on a flooded engine if that's the problem?

You MUST have a friend, coworker, relative SOMEWHERE who has a couple of tools, including a spark plug wrench.
At the very least, go to autozone, and beg them to borrow the couple of tools you need to pull the spark plugs, just so that you can inspect them.
Make sure you remove only one at a time, and put it back where it came from, and plug the right wire back into it.

Thanks for the reply. My issue wasn't really pulling them, it was having to replace them, plus get a jack. I don't have a jack and I knew it was going to be pretty cold.
When my roommate got home last night, we pushed it to a hill near my house and I popped it. Only got it up to 22 MPH and popped it in 2nd gear, it slowed down to about 12 before it finally turned over. Scared the **** out of me. Thought I was going to have to have it towed. It's running fine now, thank god. Now my cat or my O2 sensor are both f'd, but that's alright. I knew they might have been screwed before I got it running. When you look down and your cat is glowing orange for about five minutes after turning the car off it's not a good sign, lol. I've been meaning to put a new exhaust on anyway, it's about time for it.
