Unhappy Car Wont Start- Please Help

Okay, so I have a 04 8 with about 100k Miles on it, i had it parked for the winter and would go start it every few days/ week . It kept getting harder and harder to get it started and eventually it would need a jump to get it going, then it got to the point where it was totally dead and wouldn't do anything even with a jump.. completely dead.

Took the battery out to charge it and left it for a few days, when i went to put my battery back in the horn would start blasting and the lights/windshield wipers would also come on. Took the horn fuse off and tried to start it and nothing happened besides wipers/lights again. Also none of the buttons on my fob work anymore.

I checked the battery with a volt meter and it was -12v? its like the polarity got reversed somehow, took it to a local battery store and they said they had only ever seen it once before and suggested getting a new battery, so i purchased one.

Got the new battery home, checked it and the voltage was good, put it in and the alarm system (or whatever was causing the horn and windshield wipers to go frantic) didn't go off but it still wont start. the dash lights all come on and i hear a little click when I try to start it but that's all, and my key fob buttons still don't do anything. I don't have a spare key or I would have tried that already.

I'm stumped at this point, and if no one on these forums knows what to do ill have to take it in. Thanks in advance for all the replies!

Thanks, I have checked my fuses but its weird, for the life of me I can't find my main 120A fuse. I've seen pictures of other peoples to the left of their fuse box but mine isn't there. Any suggestions?

If everything else in your car is working and you can hear clicking your 120 should be fine. Most likely there's a failed relay or fuse you need to find.. Happy hunting!
