Car wont start
i was thinking that it got flooded, but didnt that new recall prevent that from happening? it could be my starter but i doubt it, and it could also be my fuel pump but i hear it click on after puttin my key in and turning it. my engine turns but doesnt start. but i DOOO have a question. when u put your key in the ignition and turn it to the on position, but not starting it does your oil pressure gauge go up? i assume not because there isnt any oil pressure since the cars not running. anyhow i called mazda roadside assistance and they're on their way (2 hours). since it's gonna be at the dealership i'm gonna have them take a look at the tranny because i feel like it's constantly slipping especially going uphill. i'm gonna have them check my engine mount cause my car shakes hard as hell when it's cold, and my sunroof vibrates like hell. hopefully the dealership will be open 2morrow. i'll let you know whats up

Same thing happened to me after I got the car back from the recall test. No floods for two years....and I have that done....immediately it floods. I think it's happened to a bunch of people. I wonder if they are doing something funky with this recall test?

Hello, I'm new to this club. I had the same thing happen to my car. One morning it just wouldn't start. Had it towed to the nearest Mazda dealership. They told me the car was flooded. Said there was a recall and they had fixed the problem. On the drive home, I stopped at a traffic light. The car died. I was able to crank it and get it off the highway. It was towed back to the dealership. They were unable to find anything wrong with it. It also has a really bad vibration.
