I'm having an issue wiht my car it likes to squeal or whistle when I'm kinda coasting along on the road and then it tends to stop when I'm accelerating. Sounds like maybe the axle needs to be greased or something? not quite sure what it could be.. any ideas? Also the Red Radiator light will come on when I'm on the free way for a little bit and then will turn off and go back on after awhile then turn off.. any ideas? Also my car tends to take a while to turn over once it's been started a few times in the day. Like if I go to multiple stores it will start to take a while to turn over, replaced the battery any ideas? thanks for the help!

 

What year is your car, how many miles on it, what kind of transmission does it have and what kind of maintenance has been done to it?

 

04 with 96k miles, 6 spd manual. Only had it two years and have had oil changes every 3000 miles or so

 

Can you post an audio clip of the noise?

Do a search on here for the coolant sensor issue.

I assume you mean it cranks ok when hot, just doesn't want to start right up when it's hot. If so, a complete tuneup is probably in order although it could be a compression issue; Search the forum for threads on plugs and coils as well as threads on compression issues, testing, etc.
