Car shuts off(Stalls) during Long Distance & Spirited Driving... PLEASE HELP!
Compression check won't give you any good info if its all carboned up. If low compression, is it because of carbon lock or engine issues?
I still suggest doing a decarb then put all your new stuff on. If it still isn't right after that, then do the compression check. Seafoam is supposed to turn all the buildup into a liquid so it burns off quickly.
Thats just what I would do.

Just get it sorted out.
Btw, would it be possible that his Cat might be a problem? Cause he said long trips, so overtime the cat would overheat.
Wait, before it dies, do you notice a lack of power?

Do I really need to change the oil after this procedure ? I haven't read that on any DIYs or the mazda TSB. I wanna do this decarb procedure asap because I should be getting my plugs in like 2 days and im not due for another oil change till 1,000 miles
So do you guys think I should just wait another 1,000 miles unti my next oil change is due to perform the decarbon procedure and put in my new plugs, wires, and coils ?? Or should I just put in my new plugs, wires, and coils in now anyway ?
Still confused lol....Isn't the purpose of vaccuming in the 2 cycle oil before or after using the decarb spray in order to re-lubricate the areas where the decarb procedure has eaten away the oil ? I dont see in any DIYs that people have changed their oil right after this procedure...
